Introduction to Strategic Planning (1/2 day)

This workshop is designed to assist and supports those who participate in and assist in the facilitation of the strategic planning process for their groups and organisations.

Aim

Introduce participants to the strategic planning process, and in understanding their role in supporting and facilitating the process and the skills necessary to do this successfully.

Topics include:

• The strategic planning process – what is it?
• Introducing the process into an organisation
• What is involved in facilitating and supporting the process in your organisation
• How to implement the process
• Identifying the key stakeholders and facilitating their involvement in the process
