Personality Profiling – Extended DISC

Can you analyse people’s behaviour? Want to know how?

Imagine if you could work out why you do what you do on a subconscious level?  Better yet, imagine what you could do if you understood what other people do?  Can you imagine the power of influence you could have on people? Interested?

Understanding the natural behavioural style of an individual is a fundamental requirement for sound management.

Many managers do this “by the seat of their pants” and, because they have made assumptions without relying on any widely accepted behavioural style analysis, often fail dismally. Even more importantly, it is possible that the managers feel insecure, frustrated, uncertain of their role and even suffer from stress. People may well be suppressing these symptoms and the consequences of this can surface with drastic results, leading to an inefficient performance, a lack of motivation and even a resignation of the individual. So to quote Sir Walter Lippman:

“The best way of knowing the inwardness of our neighbour is to know ourselves.”

The consequences of making inaccurate assumptions of a person’s behavioural style may not surface immediately, but unless their style is clearly understood, it is not always to understand what motivates the individual (and what doesn’t, - what they prefer to avoid) what their clear natural strengths are and what aspects of their behaviour style may well become weaknesses in a stressful situation.

Extended DISC® tools address these human resource challenges and provide management with valuable information. The Extended DISC® tools  ensure that people are kept fully motivated and ensure too that the person’s strengths are being maximised for the benefit of the organisation.
