"Mille Grazie" to our Italian Interns

We said farewell to our Italian interns, Francesca and Paolo, on the 1st October after 10 weeks with The Centre. During their intern program (through the Australian Catholic University (ACU) and the Universita Cattolica del Saro Cuore in Milan) they found time to travel (as far as Cairns!). Their easy going manner helped developed many friendships, while their determination in a foreign country, produced quality work-based outcomes.

Francesca and Paolo successfully undertook three important projects to assist The Centre and the School, namely researching and summarising youth/student volunteering programs throughout Australia. The other two projects were market research and course positioning, and competency mapping to professional development workshops to units of competency from the School’s Business and Management diplomas.

At the end of their internship Francesca travelled back to Italy, while Paolo intends to stay and work in Australia for another 12 months.
