Update on Major DET RPL Project

This important project for the volunteering sector has now reached the assessment stage. A group of 33 candidates for the Certificate I in Active Volunteering have been assessed with a 100 percent success rate. The Diploma of Business assessments are still in progress with a group of 19 candidates. Read more about the project, progress and lessons learnt.

Italian Interns at the SVM

The School is pleased to announce the arrival of two interns from Italy, Paolo, 26, and Francesca, 21, who are currently participating in the intern program of the Australian Catholic University (ACU) and the Universita Cattolica del Saro Cuore in Milan. They will work at the School three days a week for 10 weeks until the end of September. Meet Paolo and Francesca

Fee Increase from 1 July 2009

There will be a small increase in the school’s fees for its training and other services from 1 July. The increases are generally in line with CPI increases over the past year. Despite this increase the School’s fees remain extremely competitive.
